From August 10th to 12th, 2017, the Leadership Board of the Center for Quality Assurance Education - National University of Hanoi (VNU-CEA) has visited and worked at the University of Melbourne (Australia), Tertiary Education Quality Standards Agency (TEQSA) and Australia Council of Education Research (ACER).
On August 10, 2017, the delegation visited and worked with the Leadership Board of the University of Melbourne. The two sides shared experiences in implementing quality assurance activities and education accreditation of the University and the Center.
On August 11, 2017, the delegation visited and worked with the Tertiary Education Quality Standards Agency (TEQSA). Welcoming the delegation, TEQSA has Dr. Karen Treloar – Director, Engagement Group, Mr Andre Fontanini - Assistant Director, Financial Advisory, Ms. Lorraine Buckman - Senior Case Manager, Assurance Group and Ms. Karen Glanville - Senior Case Manager, Assessment and Investigations.
At the meeting, the Leadership Board of the VNU-CEA and TEQSA introduced and discussed the quality assurance framework for education, practical issues in education quality assurance, accrediting of training programs; and the possibilities of receiving and integrating Vietnam; at the same time, the two sides also talked about future possibilities for cooperation in the areas of quality assurance, education accreditation at institutional and educational program levels.
Thereout, the VNU-CEA’s Leadership Board has a meeting with the Australia Council of Education Research (ACER). The exchange opens the next opportunity for academic cooperation between the VNU-CEA and ACER to improve the quality of education towards integration in the context of the globalization of higher education.
